Council of the capital city The Prague City Council has approved subsidies for low-income households to replace non-ecological solid fuel boilers with modern, low-emission heat sources. In the fifth round of the so-called boiler subsidies, a total of more than CZK 1.5 million will be distributed.
Nine households have met the conditions of the call, two of which will receive a subsidy of CZK 130,000 for a biomass boiler with automatic fuel supply and seven will receive CZK 180,000 for the installation of a heat pump.

For the implementation of this programme, the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic has allocated funds to the City of Prague. The Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic has allocated funds from the Cohesion Fund of the European Union in the total amount of more than CZK 11 million. These funds will be drawn down continuously between 2023 and 2026.
