the Prague City Council approved the reconstruction of the Šlecht Restaurant and the associated financing of CZK 200 million. The landmark of Prague's Stromovka is currently not in working order and it is necessary to start expensive reconstruction and fitting-out works on this monument. The plan still needs to be approved by the City Council. Prague.

The Council of the Capital City of Prague will approve the project. On Monday, the Prague City Council took note of the current state of the building and set out a vision of how the reconstruction will continue. Prague will now create a new investment project and tender for a new contractor to complete the work.

The building has already been reconstructed once between 2017 and 2020, with a total of CZK 225 757 622 spent. As these funds were not sufficient to cover the work, a new investment project will be created with a total cost of CZK 200,000,000 including VAT. The future administrator of the building will be the capital city, the Department of Property Management of the Prague City Hall. According to the original plan, it was to be leased by the municipal joint-stock company Obecní dům for an annual rent of CZK 994,000.

Currently, the Šlecht's Restaurant is in a state of unfinished reconstruction. It cannot be fully used for its purpose because the restaurant part is completely missing. The 18 rooms of the historic building have only been completed to the rough construction stage, the whole of the extension is in the rough construction stage. These rooms are deteriorating and will continue to deteriorate without traffic and tempering.

The adjacent Chestnut Garden, which now houses the site facilities, will also be landscaped. Up to 25 chestnut trees will be planted and the ground landscaped.
