The Department of the Prague City Council helps the city districts to find savings in the energy sector and to comply with the legislation and the Climate Plan of the Capital City of Prague. In the three years of its operation, in addition to organising professional seminars and training, it has helped, for example, with the implementation of a gas boiler room in the Masaryk High School of Chemistry together with the municipal company Heat for Prague. Current energy-saving projects also include the reconstruction of the Industrial Palace and the preparation of the reconstruction of the Vinohrady Theatre.
With the support of the State Environmental Fund, the City of Prague is also planning to support comprehensive energy measures in school buildings and at the same time contribute to increasing school capacities and improving the quality of teaching. In particular, the TPP plan includes boiler room modernisation projects with the Secondary Vocational School of Civil Aviation in Prague, the Karel Herfort Primary and Secondary School and the Karel Sladkovský Gymnasium.
